A day in Eastbourne 

A seaside walk, shopping and perfect pizzas 

I admit that this is a favourite of mine:

We like to park on King Edwards Parade, and walk down through the gardens, and along the prom towards town. There are several cafes on the way, to stop for a coffee on the beach. If we have time, we walk along the pier.

Head in towards town, and the new  Beacon Shopping Centre, and then lunch at  Pomodoro e Mozzarella (23/24 Cornfield Terrace – phone 01323 733800). This is our favourite restaurant. You can watch the pizzas being made. 

(My favourite is the Pizza al formaggio di capra. So good!)
